These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of DocoAPI, a SaaS API documentation platform operated by SAGA LABS LTDA, trading as SagaLabs ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
If you have questions, email us at [email protected].
DocoAPI is a cloud-based API documentation platform. It lets you generate, host, and publish documentation from OpenAPI/Swagger specifications. Features include:
We may update, improve, or modify the service at any time. We'll do our best to communicate significant changes in advance.
To use DocoAPI, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for:
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this requirement.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

We reserve the right to remove content or terminate accounts that violate this section, with or without notice, depending on severity.
DocoAPI is offered as a paid subscription. Current pricing is available on the DocoAPI pricing page.
All payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. This means Paddle handles your payment, issues your receipt, and is responsible for collecting and remitting taxes (including VAT) on transactions. Your billing relationship for payment purposes is with Paddle, not directly with SagaLabs.
We offer a 14-day free trial for new accounts.
After the trial, your subscription renews automatically on a monthly basis. You will be charged on the same day each month.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access to the service until then.
We offer a 14-day refund policy. If you are not satisfied with DocoAPI, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase date. No questions asked.
All refund requests are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, in accordance with their refund policy and applicable consumer protection laws. For full details, see our Refund Policy.
We may change our pricing with at least 30 days' advance notice. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect.
You own your API specifications, documentation content, and any data you upload to DocoAPI. We do not claim any ownership over your specs, code, or documentation.
By uploading content to DocoAPI, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not use your specs for any other purpose.
DocoAPI — including the software, design, code, trademarks, and all platform features — is owned by SAGA LABS LTDA. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of the DocoAPI platform to you.
You receive a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use DocoAPI while you have an active account and are in compliance with these Terms.
When you publish a documentation portal on DocoAPI, it becomes publicly accessible at your assigned subdomain. You are responsible for the content in your published docs.
Important: Published portals remain publicly accessible regardless of your subscription status. We will not take down published documentation due to subscription expiration. If you want to unpublish a portal, you can do so from your account settings.
We aim to provide a reliable service but we do not guarantee 100% uptime. The service is provided "as is" and we may perform maintenance, updates, or experience unplanned outages.
We will do our best to notify you in advance of scheduled maintenance and to resolve unplanned outages promptly.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold SagaLabs harmless from any claims, losses, or damages (including legal fees) arising from:
DocoAPI integrates with third-party services including Paddle (billing), GitHub (spec sync), and OpenAI (AI search embeddings). Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms of service. We are not responsible for the actions or policies of these third parties.
You may close your account at any time from your account settings or by emailing [email protected]. Upon closure, your data will be deleted within 30 days as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
In cases of serious violations (e.g., abuse, illegal use), we may terminate your account immediately without notice.
Upon termination, your access to the service ends. Your published documentation portals may be taken offline. Any data associated with your account will be deleted in accordance with our data retention policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of DocoAPI will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Norway.
If you are located in the EU and believe we have acted in breach of applicable law, you also have the right to seek resolution through your local consumer protection authority.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. For significant changes, we'll notify you via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Continued use of DocoAPI after updated Terms take effect means you accept the new Terms. If you disagree with the changes, you may cancel your account before they take effect.
